Intesa Sanpaolo's 2023 net income in Bosnia flat y/y

February 14 (SeeNews) - Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo said its unit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Intesa Sanpaolo Banka [SAJ:UPIBP], generated a net income of 14 million euro ($15 million) in 2023, flat compared with the year before.

Intesa Sanpaolo Banka's operating income stood at 49 million euro in 2023, up from 46 million euro booked a year earlier, the bank said in an annual financial statement last week.

Customer deposits rose to 1 billion euro in 2023, up from 900 million euro in 2022, while customer loans increased to 900 million euro from 800 million euro.

Intesa Sanpaolo Banka's shares have not traded on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange in the past year.
