November 9 (SeeNews) - Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo said that its Albanian unit's net income rose to 9 million euro ($9.1 million) in the first nine months of 2022, from 8 million euro booked in the like period last year.
Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania's operating income increased to 32 million euro in the period under review, up from 31 million euro a year earlier, Intesa Sanpaolo Spa said in an interim financial statement on Friday.
Customer deposits rose 7.1% year-on-year in the January-September period, reaching 1.5 billion euro.
Customer loans increased to 0.5 billion euro, from 0.4 billion euro.
Intesa Sanpaolo Bank is a fully-owned subsidiary of Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo. It is the fourth largest bank in Albania and has good regional outreach with 34 branches countrywide.
