Indices of Bosnia's Banja Luka bourse end week mixed, amid higher turnover

SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), August 25 (SeeNews) – The indices of Bosnia's Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) ended the week mixed, amid slightly higher turnover, bourse data indicated on Friday.

BLSE’s benchmark index, the BIRS, decreased 0.60% this week to 566.19 points.

The bourse's investment fund index, the FIRS, remained unchanged from last week, closing at 1,795.92 points on August 25.

Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] generated the biggest trading turnover of 32,610.93 marka on BLSE's official market this week.

BLSE’s total trading turnover rose to 742,882.10 marka ($450,400/379,800 euro) this week from 699,043.73 marka last week.

The Sarajevo-based stock exchange SASE, did not release its weekly data by 17.30 CET.

SASE is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The BLSE is based in the other entity, the Serb Republic.
