IBM opens software development centre in Serbia's Novi Sad - govt

December 21 (SeeNews) - U.S.-based global technology company IBM has opened a software development centre in Novi Sad, the Serbian government said.

There are currently 38 engineers employed at the IBM office in Novi Sad, and the number is planned to double, hiring graduates from the University of Novi Sad, the government said in a press release on Tuesday.

The new development centre will allow the company to provide better services and support to users in the wider region, the government quoted IBM General Manager for Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania Nikola Polic as saying at the opening ceremony
