BUCHAREST (Romania), October 4 (SeeNews) – U.S.-based information technologies company IBM has appointed Michael Paier head of its Romanian operations, IBM Romania said on Thursday.

“Michael Paier, director general for southeastern Europe, has taken over the responsibility of managing IBM Romania,” the company said in a statement.

Former CEO Bogdan Balaci has left the company "to continue his career outside the corporation," it added.
