IBEX buys 20,000 shares in Bulgarian Stock Exchange operator

December 17 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) [BUL:BSO] said that its wholly-owned unit - the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX), has acquired 20,000 shares in the company at a price of 4.5 levs ($2.81/2.30 euro) apiece.

IBEX acquired the shares in the stock exchange operator on December 15, the BSE said in a statement on Wednesday.

IBEX is targeting the purchase of up to 197,000 shares in the stock exchange operator by the end of the year.

Shares in the BSE closed at a price of 4.74 levs on Wednesday.
