PODGORICA (Montenegro), December 25 (SeeNews) – Hungary’s Vagon Impex and Montenegro’s Neksan have offered to enter into a partnership agreement with bankrupt Montenegrin bauxite mining firm Rudnici Boksita [MNG:RUBN], Podgorica-based media reported.

Vagon Impex has offered to produce 12,000 tonnes of ore per month at the mine, enough to cover payroll costs but not operational costs, daily Vijesti reported on Wednesday, quoting trade union leader Borisav Bojanovic.

Neksan plans production of 20,000-23,000 tonnes of bauxite ore per month.

The company's court-appointed administrator will make the final decision on the submitted offers.

Rudnici Boksita, which went bankrupt in February, faces creditor claims totaling 130 million euro ($158 million).

Russia’s CEAC Holdings, a subsidiary of Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska's En+ Group, and the Montenegrin government each control 31.8% of Rudnici Boksita.
