Hrvatski Telekom, Valamar boost Croatian share indices

May 15 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange advanced further on Wednesday, backed by gains in Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT], and hotel owner and manager Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP], bourse data showed.

The total bourse turnover reached almost 1.1 million euro ($1.2 million), up from 803,000 euro a day earlier.

The 21-share benchmark, the CROBEX, rose 0.18% to close at 2,816.25 points.

The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, went up 0.61% to 1,704.84 points.

Hrvatski Telekom generated the largest daily turnover, 160,000 euro, as its stock appreciated 2.65% to close at 31 euro.

Blue-chip shares of Valamar gained 1.20% to close at 5.08 euro in a turnover of 108,000 euro.
