The deal is expected to close on December 31, HT said in a filing with the Zagreb stock exchange from Wednesday.

The financial terms of the deal remained undisclosed.

The divestment is in line with the telecom's strategy of restructuring its  non-core business.

HT purchased E-tours in 2006. It specialises in the sale of airplane tickets and organisation of corporate travel, which account for around half of its revenue.
