October 11 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index ended a three-day losing streak by closing 0.84% higher at 562.11 points on Friday.
Diversified group Holding Varna [BUL:5V2] led gainers among blue chips, adding 6.56% to 39 levs.
The capitalization-weighted index's largest member - drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR], followed with a 1.83% rise to 3.34 levs.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, advanced 0.42% to 111.06 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, increased 0.28% to 501.05 points.
Both indices were supported by a 8.19% jump in the share price of Holding Sveta Sofia [BUL:4HS].
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.25% to 127.87 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover rose to 187,000 levs on Friday after sinking to just 72,000 levs on Thursday.
