H&M's 9-mo FY 2017 sales in Croatia increase 3% y/y

September 28 (SeeNews) - The sales of Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Croatia increased by 3% on the year to 617 million Swedish crowns ($75.8 million/64.4 million euro) in the first nine months of financial year 2017 started December 1, the Swedish fashion retailer said on Thursday.

In the local kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia dropped 1% over the review period, the company said in its nine-month financial report.

In the third quarter of fiscal year 2017, H&M sales in Croatia fell 3% on the year to 225 million Swedish crowns. In the kuna currency, H&M sales in Croatia decreased 6% between June 1 and August 31.

H&M operated 15 stores in Croatia at the end of August.

In Southeast Europe, H&M is also present in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
