H&M sales in Slovenia edge down in 9-mo FY 2012

September 27 (SeeNews) - Sales of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) in Slovenia fell by 1.0% on the year to 352 million Swedish crowns ($53.4 million/41.5 million euro) in the first nine months of its fiscal 2012 which started in December 2011, the company said Thursday.

The sales figure includes value-added tax.

In the June-August quarter, the sales of the company in Slovenia amounted to 114 million Swedish crowns, 3.0% less than a year earlier.

At end-August, H&M had 12 stores in Slovenia, the company said in its nine-month report.

Elsewhere in Southeast Europe, H&M has stores in Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia.
