Heineken Q3 beer volume sales in CEE rises 3.6%

October 25 (SeeNews) - Dutch brewer Heineken said its beer volume sales in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) grew 3.6% on the year in the third quarter on an organic basis, led by solid gains in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Russia and Serbia.

The company reported sales of 16.6 million hectolitres (hl) in CEE in the third quarter in a report issued on Wednesday.

In the first nine months of 2012 sales in CEE rose by 4.9% to 43.4 million hl.

In CEE, Heineken operates in Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Slovakia.
