HCLTech opens GDC centre in Romania's Iasi

December 8 (SeeNews) - India's software-services exporter HCLTech said on Friday that it has launched a global delivery centre (GDC) in the north-eastern Romanian city of Iasi.

The centre will provide digital, engineering, cloud and AI solutions to the company's clients. It highlights HCLTech’s commitment to Romania as part of the company's nearshore strategy to serve global clients, HCLTech said in a press release.

Established in 1991 and headquartered in India, HCLTech serves 221,000 people across 60 countries. The company's consolidated revenues for the 12 months through September 2023 totaled $12.9 billion (11.97 billion euro).
