November 24 (SeeNews) - Polish real estate developer Globe Trade Centre (GTC) said its Croatian unit signed a lease agreement with insurer Generali for over 2,500 square metres of office space in its Matrix B building in Zagreb.
"Zagreb is a relatively small and still developing market. The newly signed lease agreement, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic environment, demonstrates very good progress and shows evidence of office demand in this market," the president of GTC's management board, Yovav Carmi, said in an emailed statement last week.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
The agreement for the lease of the A-class office space includes underground and outdoor parking lots. Generali plans to move in at the beginning of May 2021.
Matrix B offers an overall 10,700 sq m of A-class office space and is one of GTC's green champion buildings in terms of innovative ecological solutions. Its tenants include Olympus, BASF, Spaces (Regus) and L’Oreal, among others.
