“[…] The aim of this agreement is to increase the presence and recognition of Shell-branded lubricants on the Romanian market,” Elgeka said in a statement.
The deal is expected to boost Elgeka Ferfelis Romania's turnover by 6.0 million euro ($7.5 million) in 2009, the statement said without elaborating.
No information was immediately available on the value of Elgeka Ferfelis Romania's turnover last year. Its turnover was 189.5 million lei ($62.2 million/48.6 million euro) in 2006, according to data of the Finance Ministry.
Elgeka Ferfelis Romania, set up in September 2002, has 12 branches countrywide and employs more than 450. Its distribution portfolio also includes the products of Kimberly-Clark, Willkinson, Antrefrig, Pompea, Podravka and SSL International plc.
