Greece's DTCA Hygeia now fully owns Albania's Hygeia Tirana in 3.8 mln euro deal

TIRANA (Albania), December 18 (SeeNews) – Greek company Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center of Athens Hygeia (DTCA Hygeia) said it had acquired the remaining 12.14% in share capital of its subsidiary in Albania Hygeia Tirana for 3.8 million euro ($4.7 million).

After the deal, DTCA Hygeia's share in Hygeia Tirana's capital reached 100%, DTCA Hygeia said in an announcement on Wednesday.

"This transaction is in tune with Hygeia Group’s strategic objective to maintain complete control over the ownership and management of the Group’s subsidiaries, so as to ensure the high level of healthcare services it offers," it added.

Hygeia Tirana operates Hygeia Hospital Tirana in the Albanian capital city.
