After detailed research, the company’s engineers have concluded that the most suitable for the project was the UB-ground mounting system, Grace Solar said in a press release on Saturday.

To stimulate the sector, Romania's government is offering six green certificates for each megawatt-hour produced by a solar installation. These certificates can be traded in a regulated market, separately from the output they account for. According to data from the recently established Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association, the price of one green certificate is between 27 euro ($34.6) and 55 euro, subject to indexation.
