“The arrival of Siteco is not only a proof of the continued interest of global companies towards investing in Serbia, but also a confirmation that Serbia is becoming a new European technology hub,” Marko Cadez, the head of Serbia’s Chamber of Commerce said in a press release following a meeting with Ivan Lazarevic, Siteco general manager for Serbia.
The size of the investment in the design engineering centre was not disclosed.
Established in 1997, Traunreut-based Siteco is a leading provider of technical lighting solutions for streets, tunnels, sports areas, industrial space, office and retail. The company has around 800 employees, according to its LinkedIn profile.
