The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
"With this transaction, we will become the leading manufacturer of self-adhesive labels in Romania. Romprix, with its strong focus on the local Romanian market, complements our current business in Romania perfectly," All4Labels CEO Adrian Tippenhauer said.
All4Labels has been operating a production facility near the southern Romanian city of Ploiesti since 2015. The factory employed 89 at the end of 2021, finance ministry data showed.
Romprix CEO, founder and majority-shareholder Cristian Dobrota will continue to run the business.
"Romprix has been looking for an international partner to support our development not only in Romania, but also on an international level, and thus enabling us to grow jointly with our customers both locally and beyond the regional market – with All4Labels we have the perfect match and partner to do so," Dobrota said.
Romprix Exim was established in 2009 and employed 344 at end-2021, data from the finance ministry indicated.
Its headquarters and production plant are located near Bucharest, in Pantelimon commune. The company also has work points in the cities of Arad, Bacau, Brasov, Braila, Constanta, Iasi, Odorheiu Secuiesc, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Simeria and Targu Mures.
