The locations of the planned two supermarkets have not been announced yet, local news portal Retail Serbia reported last week.
The Mix-Markt retail chain was founded in 1997 and specialises in the distribution of eastern European goods, including Russian foods and homeware as well as specialities from Poland, Italy, Turkey, Asia, the Baltic states and many other countries.
It now has 353 supermarkets in Germany and Europe, according to its website. In the region, the retailer has nine stores in Montenegro, three in Bulgaria, one in Slovenia and 18 in Greece.
