September 25 (SeeNews) - German retailer Kaufland, said that it plans to open 20 stores and a logistics centre in Moldova over the next ten years.
The retailer recently opened a new store in the northern city of Balti, taking the number of its stores in the country to three, it said in a press release on Thursday.
The new store employs 100. The store has a sales area of 3,900 sq m and a car parking with 386 slots and bicycle racks.
Kaufland is present in Moldova since December 2018. In Europe, Kaufland operates a network of over 1,250 stores in eight countries.
