LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 10 (SeeNews) – Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) for a third straight session on Monday, supporting a rise in the bourse's main index, LJSE data showed.
NLB closed at 61.0 euro, up 3.04%. On Friday, the company's shares ended the session at 59.2 euro, up 2.07%.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, gained 0.47% to a closing value of 909.85 points.
Hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJSE:UKIG] fell the most among the blue chips. Unior’s shares closed 1.45% lower at 13.6 euro.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Monday – 567,860 euro.
The bourse's total trading turnover fell to 1.67 million euro ($1.8 million) from 1.88 million euro on Friday.
