December 14 (SeeNews) - French energy company Total is opening an office in Croatia and expects sales on the local market to reach 70 million kuna ($11 million/9.3 million euro) in the first year, local media reported on Thursday.
Having recognised the market's potential, Total made the decision to come to Croatia with the aim to provide all-round support to its clients, news agency Hina reported, citing Total's director for the Balkans, Almila Acan Kahvecioglu.
Its projected sales for Croatia are planned to come from the distribution of lubricants for motor vehicles, farm and industrial machinery, cargo vehicles, etc.
Total is present in 110 countries and employs more than 100,000 people. It is a French multinational integrated oil and gas company and one of the seven oil giants in the world.
