The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in March decreased by an annual 16% to 54,817, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Tourist overnights fell to 139,437 from 156,452 in March 2023.
Visitors from Germany accounted for 15% of tourist overnights spent in Montenegro in March, followed by tourists from Serbia with a 10% share, Turkey with 7.9%, and the United Kingdom with 7%.
Seaside resorts attracted 73% of all overnight stays, followed by the capital Podgorica with 18%, mountain resorts with 3.2% and other resorts with 5%.
