Foreign tourist visits to Serbia up 9% y/y in Oct

November 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Serbia in October rose 9% year-on-year, reaching 203,544, the statistical office said on Thursday.

Turkey was Serbia's biggest feeder market in October with 24,858 tourists, up 83% on the year. Visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina followed with 18,491, down 0.5% on the year. Visitors from Russia came in third, down 20% to 14,842.

The number of domestic tourists decreased by 11% on the year in October, to 192,660.
