Foreign tourists spent 57,388 overnights in the Serb Republic in October, which represents an annual increase of 23.3%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a statement on Monday.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in October came from Serbia (9,299, up 4.1%), followed by tourists from Slovenia (3,614, up 23.1%), and 3,264 tourists from Turkey (up 82%).
The total number of tourists rose 2.1% on the year to 44,217 in October. The overall number of overnights fell 0.3% to 101,133.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
