April 29 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's Serb Republic attracted 17,749 foreign tourists in March, down 1.4% compared to the same month of 2023, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 50,539 overnights in the Serb Republic last month, which represents an annual decrease of 6.9%, the Serb Republic's statistical office said in a monthly statement.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in March came from Serbia (7,089), followed by tourists from Croatia (3,171), and 2,201 tourists from Slovenia.
The total number of tourists in the entity fell 2.5% on the year to 33,215 in March. The overall number of overnights declined 3.2% to 85,238.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
