Foreign tourist arrivals to N. Macedonia up 21% y/y in Apr

The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose 15.5% year-on-year to 108,062 in April, Makstat said in a statement.

Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in April, 40.2% came from Turkey, 7.9% from Serbia and 5.2% from Germany.

Domestic tourists numbered 18,774 in April, up 4.1% compared with the like month the year before, as they spent 43,658 overnights, up 17.4% on the year.
