Foreign tourist arrivals to N. Macedonia up 18.5% y/y in Dec

The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose 21.1% year-on-year to 65,187 in December, Makstat said in a statement.

Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in December, 18.1% came from Turkey, 13.7% from Greece and 11.8% from Serbia.

Domestic tourists numbered 21,555 in December, up 8% compared with the like month the year before, as they spent 46,481 overnights, up 16.9% on the year.
