December 12 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to North Macedonia totalled 53,360 in October, compared with 31,728 in the same month last year, the country's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in North Macedonia rose to 104,777 in October, from 69,925 a year earlier, Makstat said in a statement.
Out of the total number of foreign tourists who visited North Macedonia in October, 18% came from Turkey, 9.2% from Greece and 8.3% from Serbia.
Domestic tourists numbered 28,488 in October, up from 22,100 in the same month of 2021, as they spent 75,226 overnights, up from 54,294 a year earlier.
