November 30 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in October rose 33% on the year to 109,195, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in October increased by an annual 32% to 120,021, the statistical office said in a monthly report.
Tourist overnights grew to 341,028 in October from 268,002 in the same month of 2022.
Visitors from Germany accounted for 16% of tourist overnights spent in Montenegro in October, followed by tourists from France with a 7.8% share, and Serbia with 4.8%.
Seaside resorts attracted 78% of all overnight stays, followed by the capital Podgorica with 14%, mountain resorts with 4.2% and other resorts with 3.6%.
