March 29 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Montenegro in February rose 2% on the year to 30,786, the country's statistical office said.
The total number of tourists who stayed in the country in February decreased by an annual 1.6% to 37,762, the statistical office said in a monthly report on Thursday.
Tourist overnights fell to 90,907 from 95,944 from in February 2023.
Visitors from Serbia accounted for 25% of tourist overnights spent in Montenegro in February, followed by tourists from Turkey with a 10.6% share, Germany with 7.7%, Bosnia and Herzegovina 6.3% and Russia with 5.8%.
Seaside resorts accounted for 62% of all overnight stays, followed by capital Podgorica with 25% and mountain resorts with 8% and other resorts with 5.3%.
