December 10 (SeeNews) - Foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia rose 12.2% on the year in October, reaching 894,666 in October, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
The number of overnights spent by foreign tourists in Croatia grew 8.5% year-on-year in October, to 2.7 million, the statistical office said in a statement.
In October, the number of Croatian tourists increased by 9.6% to 181,650, while the overnights they spent rose 12.4% to 386,430.
Overall, the number of domestic and foreign tourists who visited the Adriatic country in October, rose 11.7% year-on-year to 1.1 million.
Tourists from Germany accounted for 27.6% of all overnights spent by international visitors in October, followed by tourists from the United Kingdom with 11.5%, Austria (7.1%) and Slovenia (5.6%).
