October 28 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Serb Republic in September rose by 4.6% year-on-year, to 21,008, the entity's statistical office said on Monday.
Foreign tourists spent 40,629 overnights in the Serb Republic in September, up 0.3%, the statistical office said in a statement.
In September, the total number of tourists who visited the Serb Republic, increased 2.6% to 37,835. Total tourist overnights fell 1.5% on the year to 84,466.
Most foreign tourists who visited the Serb Republic in September - 5,205, came from neighbouring Serbia, followed by tourists from Slovenia, 2,026, and Croatia - 1,834.
In the January-September period, the number of foreign tourists arrivals increased by 6.4%, reaching 171,313.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
