November 3 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia's Federation in September totalled 79,014, up 69.7% compared with the same month a year earlier, according to figures released by the entity's statistical office.
Foreign tourists spent 163,009 overnights in the Federation in September, an annual increase of 46.6%, figures published by the Federation's statistical office showed this week.
The total number of tourists who visited the Federation in September was 111,241, up 49.6% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 35.7% on the year to 225,934 in September 2022.
In September most foreign visitors to the Federation came from Croatia (8,262), followed by tourists from Turkey (6,736) and Germany (5,175).
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
