Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia up 9.8% y/y in April

June 5 (SeeNews) - A total of 99,879 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in April, compared with 90,978 in the same month of 2023, official figures showed on Wednesday.

Foreign tourists spent 198,186 overnights in Bosnia in April, up 8.4% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.

The total number of tourists who visited the country in April was 140,139, up 10.3% on the year. Total tourist overnights increased 10.7% to 280,667.

In April most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Turkey (16,523), Serbia (14,632) and Croatia (13,762).

Last year, a total of 1.18 million foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, up 29% compared to 2022.
