December 8 (SeeNews) - A total of 90,949 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in October, compared with 53,351 in October 2021, the country's statistical office said.
Foreign tourists spent 180,105 overnights in Bosnia in October, up 50.4% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report this week.
The total number of tourists who visited the country in October was 143,566, up 52.9% on the year.
Total tourist overnights increased 42% to 292,857.
In October most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Serbia (13,991), followed by tourists from Croatia (13,138) and Slovenia (10,377).
Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia surged 153% on the year in 2021.
