Foreign tourist arrivals to Bosnia up 5.3% y/y in Feb

April 5 (SeeNews) - A total of 55,555 foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in February, compared with 52,777 in the same month of 2023, official figures showed on Friday.

Foreign tourists spent 136,132 overnights in Bosnia in February, down 1.0% on the year, Bosnia's Agency for Statistics said in a monthly report.

The total number of tourists who visited the country in February was 93,943, up 5.5% on the year. Total tourist overnights increased 0.8% to 209,309.

In February most foreign visitors to Bosnia and Herzegovina came from Croatia (16,733), Serbia (11,719) and Slovenia (3,528).

Last year, a total of 1.18 million foreign tourists visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, up 29% compared to 2022.
