November 7 (SeeNews) - The number of foreign tourists who visited Bosnia in September grew by 8.6% on the year, reaching 129,010, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
Foreign tourists spent 240,968 overnights in Bosnia in September, up 5.7% year-on-year, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total number of tourist visits grew by an annual 8.5% and fell by a monthly 17.3% to 169,725 in September. Total tourist overnights grew 5.1% on the year and dropped by 27.8% month-on-month to 328,508.
Visitors from Croatia accounted for 7.7% of all foreign tourist overnights spent in Bosnia in September, followed by visitors from China (6.4%) and Serbia (6.3%).
