FDI into Romania rises 43.7% y/y in Jan-July

Equity investment (including estimated net reinvestment of earnings) amounted to 4.153 billion euro and inter-company lending totalled a net value of 1.352 billion euro at the end of July, the central bank said in a statement citing provisional data.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into Romania soared to 7.251 billion euro in 2021 from 3 billion euro in the previous year.
