ExxonMobil E&P Romania calls tenders for offshore drilling, well-support services - TED

November 27 (SeeNews) - The Bucharest-based subsidiary of ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Romania Limited Nassau has invited bids for an offshore well-drilling services contract, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

The company is also seeking to award a contract for well-support services, a second procurement notice in Tender Electronic Daily (TED) indicated.

The value of the well-drilling contract is estimated at between $250 million and $750 million (193-579.1 million euro). The indicative value of the second contract is seen at between $500,000 and 4.0 million.

Activities contracted under the two assignments will take place in the Romanian section of the Black Sea.

Both contracts have duration of 48 months and would involve drilling and support services for a minimum of one and a maximum of seven wells.

Offers for the well-drilling services contract should be filed by 1500 Bucharest time on January 7. For the second contract the bidding deadline expires at 1200 Bucharest time on January 15.
