Eximprod leases space in Skanska Bucharest building

December 5 (SeeNews) - Romanian energy group Eximprod has leased 1,300 square metres of office space in the Equilibrium 2 building in Bucharest, which is currently being constructed by Swedish builder Skanska, the Swedish company said on Tuesday.

Eximprod will be relocating its team to the new office spaces in the second quarter of 2024, Skanska said in a press release.

"The relocation of our headquarters represents a strategic decision and comes in the context of the growth of our team in Bucharest and our commitment to providing an optimal working environment for our staff," said Dragos Vasile, Board Member of Eximprod.

Equilibrium is an office complex consisting of two buildings. Equilibrium 1 is a 12-storey office building with a leasable area of 20,700 sq m and 3,500 sq m of green area designed for outdoor work and recreation. Equilibrium 2, a second structure within the complex, is currently under development and will have a total area of 40,700 sq m upon completion.

Founded in 1994, Eximprod is specialised in automation, ADMS systems, smart grids, software development, IoT, and smart metering. The group employs 400 people and owns four factories.

Skanska has been operating in Romania since 2011, offering office spaces to clients in strategic Bucharest locations. The group also operates in Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic
