Eurohold shares gain 4.55%, lead Sofia bourse blue-chip index to green territory

October 23 (SeeNews) - Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] was the top gainer among blue chips on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Thursday, adding 4.55% to a closing price of 1.61 levs.

The rise in Eurohold's share price helped the blue-chip SOFIX index, which has 15 constituents, end 0.39% higher at 429.66 points.

The only other gainer among SOFIX members was poultry producer Gradus [BUL:GR6], which added 0.71%.

The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 0.37% to 98.02 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, advanced 0.29% to 485.75 points.

The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, lost 0.12% to 136.15 points.

Total daily regulated market trading turnover amounted to 833,000 levs.
