Erste oks sale of Sofia's Retail Park Sredets assets to Europa Capital

Sofia-based media reported recently that Europa Capital was in the process of finalizing the acquisition of the Retail Park Sredets project in Sofia from local developer AGP Group. According to the media reports, the legal owner of the Tempo and Bauhaus hypermarkets, built on the property, as well as the land that underlies them is Erste Group Immorent Bulgaria - which lease-financed their construction, and that is why the transaction had to be cleared by the Erste Group board.

"Erste Group board gave the green light to this transaction," the press office told SeeNews in an email.
