Energoprojekt leads blue-chip gainers on Belgrade bourse, share indices decline

October 24 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices decreased, bourse data showed.

Energoprojekt won 0.75% and closed at 1,209 dinars, as 984 of its shares changed hands in two transactions, generating a turnover of 1.2 million dinars.

Oil group NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded company on the Belgrade stock market on Tuesday, as a total of 8,257 of its shares changed hands in 83 deals, generating a turnover of 5.8 million dinars. NIS won 0.57% and closed at 704 dinars.

The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, decreased 0.15% to 727.18 points on Tuesday. On Monday, the index increased 0.09%.

The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, went down 0.15% on Tuesday and closed at 1,604.12 points, after rising 0.72% on Monday.

Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] paced the blue-chip decliners on Tuesday, as its share price fell by 6.06% to 310 dinars. A total of 116 shares of the company changed hands, generating a turnover of 35,960 dinars.

The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 11.5 million dinars ($113,163/96,244 euro) on Tuesday from 12.8 million dinars on Monday, as 144 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 376,000 dinars.

Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 146.9 million dinars to the session's total trading turnover of 158.4 million dinars on the bourse. A total of 13,580 bonds of the dinar-denominated RSO15112 issue changed hands in two deals. The bonds bear a coupon of 10% and mature on April 27, 2018.
