Eight Telekom Slovenije shareholders instructed to launch joint takeover bid

LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 29 (SeeNews) – Telekom Slovenije said on Thursday that the Slovenian state and seven other of its shareholders have been instructed by the country's securities regulator to submit a joint takeover bid in line with relevant legislation.

Telekom Slovenije said in a bourse filing it has been notified by the Securities Market Agency it has established that there is a concerted action on the part of the Slovenian state, Kapitalska Druzba, Slovenska Odskodninska Druzba, Zavarovalnica Triglav, Luka Koper, Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, Sklad za Financiranje Razgradnje Nuklearne Elektrarne Krsko and Aerodrom Ljubljana with regard to the telco and that they have jointly reached and exceeded the takeover threshold.
