EIB mulls 50 mln euro loan for Slovenia's SID Banka for energy efficiency, renewables

November 29 (SeeNews) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Thursday it is considering providing 50 million euro ($64.9 million) to Slovenian state-owned development bank SID Banka to co-finance investments in the energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors.

The investments that will be backed by the proposed finance, which aims to improve access to term funding at favourable conditions, can be carried out both by public and private entities as well as natural persons, the EIB said on its website.
