EIB considers up to 150 mln euro loan to Unicredit's Romanian unit

September 12 (SeeNews) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) said on Wednesday it is considering lending up to 150 million euro ($193.3 million) to Romania's Unicredit Tiriac Bank.

EIB considers up to 150 mln euro loan to Unicredit's Romanian unit

The loan will be used to finance projects of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-cap companies, public sector entities and other beneficiaries in EIB eligible sectors of the economy, EIB said on its website.

The loan is currently under appraisal.
