The accord paves the way for EES Group to carry out plans to build three small hydro power plants (SHPPs) in the vicinity of Vrnjacka Banja, the municipality said in a statement on Monday.

By the end of 2017, EES Group plans to build a total of 18 SHPPs in Serbia, including three in the Vrnjacka Banja area. It is expected that the company's investments will exceed 60 million euro ($73.4 million), the statement said.
